Upcoming webinar: Navigating IFL revisions and Motion 45 requirements: How it all fits together
The revised National Forest Stewardship Standard of Canada and Motion 45 Advice Note are scheduled for release on July 1st. The revised forest management standard introduces the option of a collaborative approach for the development of Intact Forest Landscape management strategies. It also introduces the concept of Indigenous Cultural Landscapes (ICLs) - areas shaped by long-term stewardship and traditional knowledge. To support understanding and implementation, FSC Canada is hosting an upcoming webinar to explain how these updates - and related Motion 45 requirements - fit together in practice.
