In 2020, two years after being acquired by Bain Capital, Fedrigoni became the third largest player in the self-adhesive labels market worldwide by acquiring Ritrama and IP Venus.
Since then, numerous acquisitions have transformed Fedrigoni from a “pure” paper company into a diversified business. Therefore, yesterday’s announcement that the Fedrigoni Group plans to exit the office paper business should come as no surprise.
The company will discontinue office paper production at the Fabriano mill and the La Rocchetta slitting center, removing more than 150,000 tons of paper from the market.
