B.C. forestry company responds to over-logging allegations

A Delta, B.C.-based forestry company facing allegations of over-logging on Haida Gwaii says it has stopped all logging operations in disputed areas, and as a result has laid off many of its employees.

Husby Forest Products is under investigation by the B.C. Ministry of Forests, Lands, Natural Resource Operations and Rural Development's enforcement and compliance branch over allegations of logging centuries-old cedars.
