Industry News

Hoffmaster is expanding its Clintonville, Wis., manufacturing facility with an 86,000-square-foot addition expected to nearly double production capacity and create more than 100 manufacturing jobs.

The project includes the acquisition of an adjacent property and construction of the new production space. Work is scheduled to begin in July 2026, with completion expected in the spring of 2027.

The expansion is being carried out in partnership with Gladstone Commercial Corporation, Hoffmaster's long-time landlord. Gladstone is funding both the land acquisition and the building expansion as part of a long-term lease extension that supports the company's continued growth.

Capacity expansion to support demand growth

According to Hoffmaster, the additional manufacturing space, combined with recently installed production equipment, will significantly increase the facility's output, enabling the company to meet growing customer demand while maintaining product quality.

"This is an exciting step forward for Hoffmaster as we continue to grow," said Craig Cappel, CEO of Hoffmaster. "We're proud to expand our manufacturing footprint in Wisconsin. This investment allows us to better support our customers, create new opportunities for our team members, and contribute to economic growth across Northeast Wisconsin."

The Clintonville facility manufactures single-use tableware products for the retail market, including plates, napkins, and table covers for both everyday and seasonal use.

Supporting regional growth

Beyond expanding production capacity, the project is expected to strengthen the regional economy through the creation of more than 100 manufacturing positions.

Hoffmaster is collaborating with several local and regional partners on the project, including Keller, Inc., the City of Clintonville, and the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC).

Founded in 1947 and headquartered in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, Hoffmaster supplies single-use tableware to the foodservice, consumer goods, and baking industries through its Foodservice and Consumer divisions. The company is owned by Revelar Capital and Gamut Capital Management.
