Kruger Products Inc., a leading tissue manufacturer, has announced plans to evaluate the accelerated construction of a new tissue production facility.

This strategic move aims to address growing market competition within the ultra-premium tissue segment.

Following the successful launch of its Sherbrooke, Quebec, plant, the company is exploring the addition of a state-of-the-art Through-Air-Dry (TAD) paper machine and three converting lines at the proposed facility. The evaluation reflects Kruger Products’ commitment to strengthening its market position and delivering high-quality tissue products across North America.

An official decision on the project is expected by early 2025.

Kruger Products is renowned for brands such as Cashmere®, Purex®, and SpongeTowels® in Canada, as well as White Cloud® and private label products in the U.S. With approximately 2,800 employees and operations at ten North American production facilities, the company continues to expand its presence in the tissue market.
