ND Paper has announced the restart of its PM 25 paper machine at its Biron, Wisconsin mill, scheduled for the second half of 2025.

This machine, idled in April 2024, will enhance the company's recycled packaging production in response to growing demand.

This decision follows the successful conversion of PM 26 to recycled packaging production. PM 25, modernized in 2019, will be capable of producing recycled containerboard and recycled kraft paper, further expanding the company's existing portfolio.

Currently, ND Paper offers a range of recycled products, including kraft from 30# to 70#, as well as recycled liner and medium from 23# to 35#. These products are manufactured using raw material sourced from two newly constructed OCC pulping facilities with capacities of 1,400 and 700 tons, respectively.

Since the conversion of PM 25 in 2018 and PM 26 in 2022, the Biron mill has established itself as a reliable and recognized producer in the recycled packaging sector. The restart of PM 25 will enable ND Paper to increase production capacity and better serve its customers' needs.

ND Paper is a leading pulp, packaging, and paper company headquartered in Oak Brook, Illinois. It serves a global customer base, including retailers, publishers, packaging converters, and commercial printers for paper needs, as well as manufacturers requiring pulp.
