Paper Excellence confirmed Tuesday it will purchase Domtar.
The companies announced Paper Excellence will buy all shares of Domtar stock in an all-cash deal valued at $3 billion. After the transaction is complete, Paper Excellence will continue operating Domtar as its own business, and Domtar mills will continue to be led by the Domtar management teams. Paper Excellence will keep its corporate and production locations, as well.
