Colleagues from Domtar’s Canadian-based mills are among industry leaders presenting this week at the first-ever virtual PaperWeek Canada 2021, sharing lessons from the COVID-19 pandemic and more.
This flagship conference of Pulp & Paper Technical Association of Canada welcomes attendees from across the industry. The annual event offers participants the opportunity to network, exchange ideas and best practices, and learn about new technologies from experts based around the world.
The PaperWeek Canada 2021 agenda focuses on best practices for optimization, reliability, asset management and, of course, management and operations in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We are proud to participate in this major industry gathering that provides an important platform for showcasing Domtar’s people,” says Windsor Mill Manager Sylvain Bricault.

“PaperWeek Canada has been a long-standing platform to facilitate the exchange of best practices for pulp and paper professionals and to showcase the latest developments in new technologies,” says Bill Edwards, vice president of pulp and paper operations. “This year’s conference will be especially important to hear from professionals about how the industry is responding to the unprecedented business conditions we saw in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.”
