Resolute reaches deal in principle with sawmill union

A deal in principle has been reached to renew collective agreements for 1,000 workers in eight sawmills owned by Resolute Forest Products.

The sawmills, whose employees are members of Unifor, are Comtois (Lebel-sur-Quévillon), Girardville, La Doré, Maniwaki, Mistassini, Normandin, St-Thomas et des Outardes (Baie-Comeau).
