RYAM's Jesup Plant Resumes Operations Ahead of Schedule

Rayonier Advanced Materials Inc. (RYAM) announced positive progress in restoring operations at its Jesup, Georgia facility.

Power has been fully restored to the site, and the company has successfully restarted its A Line production line ahead of schedule.

The A Line, responsible for manufacturing cellulose specialties used in filtration, food and pharmaceuticals, and tire cord applications, is currently operating at around 80% capacity. RYAM anticipates a full ramp-up to pre-incident production levels within the next week.

While repairs on the B Line are ongoing, RYAM expects to have it back in operation by October 28th. The company is currently evaluating the financial impact of the incident and potential insurance coverage. They will provide a more detailed financial update during their third-quarter earnings call scheduled for early November.
