UPM Raflatac Expands Eastern Canadian Operations with New Distribution Terminal in Ajax

UPM Raflatac has officially opened a new distribution terminal in Ajax, Ontario.

The 30,000-square-foot facility will serve UPM Raflatac’s Eastern Canadian customers, bolstering the company’s North American network, which includes three factories and two other terminals.

Equipped with state-of-the-art slitting and material handling technology, the Ajax terminal promises enhanced customer service, offering greater flexibility and customization. The facility’s strategic location also aims to reduce supply chain risks while ensuring swift delivery and efficient warehousing capabilities. Customer shipments began on October 2, with full production capacity expected by the end of 2024.
