Lecta, a major European manufacturer of specialty papers, has announced the spin-off of its self-adhesive business unit from Torraspapel S.A.U. into a new entity, Lecta Self-Adhesives España, S.L.U., effective January 1, 2025.
The newly created company will oversee all activities, agreements, and commercial relationships related to Lecta’s self-adhesive product line, reflecting a broader transformation within the Lecta Group.
This move is part of Lecta’s ongoing strategy to optimize its operations through specialization. Following the earlier spin-off of its distribution business in Southern Europe, this latest initiative aims to enhance the profitability and management of its self-adhesive materials unit.
By creating a dedicated structure, Lecta seeks to:
- Improve production efficiency,
- Adapt more effectively to market demands, and
- Deliver tailored solutions to its customers.
Lecta Self-Adhesives España, S.L.U. will inherit all existing agreements, assets, and commercial relationships from Torraspapel’s self-adhesive division. Lecta emphasized that this transition will not disrupt its commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. Instead, it promises streamlined processes and an expanded product offering under the new structure.
The headquarters of the new company will remain at Llull Street 331, 08019 Barcelona, Spain, ensuring operational continuity for its clients and partners.
