Palm Paper Mill Launches Construction of New High-Tech Corrugated Cardboard Center in Bavaria

International News

The Palm paper mill is set to begin construction on a new state-of-the-art corrugated cardboard center in Alzenau, Bavaria.

BHM INGENIEURE has been appointed once again as the general planner for this ambitious project.

The highly automated packaging manufacturing facility will be located in an industrial area, replacing an existing plant in the city center. This strategic relocation aims to enhance operational efficiency. Construction commenced in September with earthworks, signaling the start of a significant transformation.

The new center will cover 50,000 square meters on a 150,000 square meter plot, featuring not only production areas but also a high-bay warehouse designed to optimize storage and logistics for the manufacturing process.

The project is expected to take about two years to complete, with an estimated total investment of around 200 million euros. Alongside their planning role, BHM INGENIEURE will also oversee local construction supervision, ensuring that the project maintains the highest standards of quality and efficiency throughout its development.

This development marks a significant advancement for Palm and underscores their commitment to innovation and sustainability within the packaging industry.
