WASHINGTON – The American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA) released its November 2022 Packaging Papers Monthly report.
Total packaging papers & specialty packaging shipments in November decreased 9% compared to November 2021. They were down 3% when compared to the same 11 months of 2021.
- The bleached packaging papers operating rate was 81.7%, down 2.8 points from November 2021 and down 4.1 points year-to-date.
- Shipments of unbleached bag & sack paper were 81,200 short tons for the month of November, down 7.9% from November 2021.
