Resolute is pleased to share our 2021 CDP scores, reflecting our ongoing commitment to sustainability and environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance.

CDP is a globally-recognized, non-profit framework that has long championed environmental disclosure as standard business practice. Participation in CDP’s disclosure programs allows organizations to measure their progress and drive action around their sustainability performance.

Resolute has voluntarily completed CDP disclosures since the program’s inception in 2006, demonstrating our steadfast commitment to transparency.

Resolute reaffirmed our leadership in forest management with an “A-” score for our forests disclosures, once again placing us at the leadership level. Our score remains among the highest achieved in this category by any North America-based forest products company, reflecting our strong commitment to responsibly managing the natural resources in our care. Resolute has reported to CDP’s forests programs since 2012, the year the program launched.

Climate Change

We increased our score in the climate change category to a “B” from “B-”, maintaining our placement at the management level. The improvement reflects the concrete actions we have taken on climate issues, and the steps we have implemented to manage our carbon footprint. Resolute has reported to CDP’s climate change program since 2006, beginning with scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions, and adding scope 3 (supply chain) emissions in 2015.

Water Security

We sustained a “B” in the water security category, a management level score that reflects the actions we have taken to evaluate and manage environmental risks relating to our use and treatment of water.

We began reporting to CDP’s water security disclosure program in 2013.
