Ahlstrom has announced a key leadership change within its global organization. 

Effective June 1, 2025, Konraad Dullaert will permanently assume the role of Executive Vice President (EVP) of Protective Materials, while continuing in his current roles as EVP of Food and Consumer Packaging and Chief Innovation Officer.

Dullaert, who joined Ahlstrom in 2023, has held leadership roles focused on business development and innovation across the company. In a statement, President and CEO Helen Mets noted his ability to manage multiple responsibilities across divisions:

I am confident that his leadership will drive remarkable progress in both the Food and Consumer Packaging and Protective Materials divisions and Innovation.”

The appointment is part of Ahlstrom’s broader strategy to align business and innovation leadership across multiple divisions, supporting its emphasis on sustainable materials and operational efficiency.
