Georgia-Pacific has announced Julie Howard as the new president of its Gypsum business, marking a significant leadership transition within the company.
Howard will oversee operations across 12 gypsum mills in the United States, employing over 3,000 workers and producing five billion square feet of gypsum panels annually.
Julie Howard joined Georgia-Pacific in 2007 and has held various roles of increasing responsibility during her 18-year tenure. Most recently, she served as vice president and general manager of GP PRO Towels and Napkins. Her career highlights include driving growth in the paper towel category and leading the enMotion® Dispensing Systems. Prior to joining Georgia-Pacific, Howard gained international experience at Arch Chemicals (now Solenis), gatc LP, and DRÄXLMAIER Automotive.

Howard holds a bachelor’s degree from Ohio University in German and International Studies and an MBA from Georgia State University with a focus on Marketing and International Business. Residing in metro Atlanta with her family, she actively volunteers for Habitat for Humanity.
