Metsä Group has announced the appointment of Ulla Nurminen as Group Treasurer, effective October 1, 2024.
Nurminen will transition from her current role as VP of Cash Management & Treasury Support, bringing extensive experience from her tenure at Metsä Group Treasury and Nordea.
Current Group Treasurer Ari-Pekka Latti will continue as a Senior Advisor until December 31, 2024, ensuring a smooth transition. Vesa-Pekka Takala, CFO of Metsä Group, expressed gratitude for Latti's 14 years of dedicated service.
Both Nurminen and Latti will report directly to Takala, reinforcing the alignment of the treasury function with the company's financial strategy.
