SCA has announced the appointment of Petteri Kalela as the new President of the Containerboard and Pulp business areas, effective no later than June 1, 2025.
Kalela will also become a member of SCA’s executive management team.
Kalela brings a wealth of experience in the forest industry, having held various leadership roles at UPM, a prominent Finnish forest industry company. He has a strong track record in manufacturing, sales, supply chain management, and senior leadership positions across Europe and Asia. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President at Huhtamaki Fibre & Food Service Europe.

In the interim period between the turn of the year and Kalela’s official start date, Ulf Larsson will assume the role of head of the Containerboard and Pulp business areas.
