Stora Enso, a global leader in renewable products, has announced the appointment of Pasi Kyckling as acting Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

This interim role will commence on November 1, 2024, and continue until the arrival of Niclas Rosenlew as the new permanent CFO, expected no later than January 2025.

Kyckling, currently serving as Group Transformation Officer, brings extensive experience to the position. Since joining Stora Enso in 2001, he has held various leadership roles in finance, strategy, and IT across different divisions of the company.

This appointment comes as part of a planned transition following the May announcement that current CFO Seppo Parvi will be leaving for a position outside the forest industry. The move ensures continuity in Stora Enso's financial leadership during this period of change.

Stora Enso, with approximately 20,000 employees and €9.4 billion in sales for 2023, continues to be a major player in the global bioeconomy, focusing on sustainable, fiber-based products in packaging, biomaterials, and wooden construction.
