Tietoevry Industry has appointed Thomas Bernard as Head of its Pulp, Paper & Fibre business, effective immediately.
He succeeds Iva Gueorguieva, who will continue in a leadership role overseeing major customer transition projects.
Bernard brings extensive leadership experience, including more than 12 years with Tietoevry (formerly Tieto) supporting paper industry clients. Most recently, he served as Chief Digitalization Officer at a high-tech company.
“I’m pleased to return to Tietoevry,” Bernard said. “Together with our team, my goal is to deliver tangible value to our customers and support their operations—especially now, as the paper industry navigates a rapidly evolving environment.” He noted that the company’s TIPS manufacturing execution system, enhanced with new EUDR and AI capabilities, is designed to meet the changing demands of the sector.
Tietoevry’s Pulp, Paper & Fibre business provides industry-specific solutions and services for pulp, paper, board, tissue, nonwoven, and packaging producers. The TIPS system, installed at more than 300 sites worldwide, incorporates industry best practices to optimize operations.
