In a move toward more sustainable packaging, Atlantic Packaging and nVenia, a division of Duravant, have introduced Canopy™ Wrap, a curbside-recyclable alternative to traditional polyethylene (PE) shrink film.
Designed for bundling applications in the food and beverage industries, the paper-based solution helps companies reduce their reliance on single-use plastics while maintaining performance and efficiency.
Canopy™ Wrap is made from extensible kraft paper, valued for its strength and flexibility. Engineered to endure the demands of the supply chain, the material features a protective coating for moisture and abrasion resistance and a printable surface for branding and marketing.
The environmental benefits are substantial. By replacing PE shrink film with paper, manufacturers can cut virgin plastic usage by up to 100% in bundling applications. Fully curbside recyclable, Canopy™ Wrap simplifies waste management for consumers and contributes to efforts to reduce plastic pollution.
