PAPTAC is pleased at the success of the recent PaperWeek 2024 that took place the week of February 5-8, which attracted a total of 826 participants, of which 248 participated on-site the Tuesday and Wednesday February 6-7 at the Queen Elizabeth hotel (Montreal, Qc).

Of the 826 overall participants, 532 were mill folks.

After a couple of years of exclusively virtual content, the energy, engagement, and collaborative spirit that permeated the event were truly invigorating and brought together professionals, experts, thought leaders, and peers from across our industry. Seeing the reconnection being forged among familiar faces, as well as welcoming a number of new ones, added a vibrancy that we have all missed during the virtual era. Attendees had the chance to engage in discussions, exchange ideas, knowledge-share, expand their professional networks, socialize with peers, and discuss innovative products, services, and technologies with our exhibitors.

For those who couldn't attend in person, the virtual component of the conference allowed for a global audience to participate. The hybrid nature of future events will be a key focus for us, combining the best of both worlds to provide a diverse and inclusive experience for our entire membership.

The feedback we received from attendees, speakers, exhibitors, and other partners has been positive, and we want to express our gratitude to everyone who played a role in the success of the event. We look forward to seeing you at our future events and continuing to build on the momentum generated by PaperWeek 2024.
