Lessebo Paper, a leading producer of high-quality uncoated paper, is proud to announce that we are engaging with the Book Chain Project, a pioneering initiative aimed at promoting sustainability within the publishing industry.

As part of this engagement, we are providing forest source data and environmental performance data to the platform, underscoring our commitment to environmental responsibility and innovation in paper production.

The Book Chain Project is a global collaborative project run by Carnstone to help publishers make informed decisions for their own book production. By fostering collaboration and transparency across the book supply chain, the Project aims to improve environmental, social, and ethical standards while driving positive change throughout the sector.

“Our engagement with the Book Chain Project and its network is a natural step in our strategy to become even more environmentally friendly, and transparent of our practices.” says Ebba Ingvarsson, Communications Manager and Key Account Manager at Lessebo Paper. “This aligns perfectly with our mission to provide eco-friendly paper solutions that meet the evolving needs of publishers and consumers”.

Lessebo Paper’s involvement in the Book Chain Project will focus on leveraging the initiative’s expertise to enhance transparency and sustainability across the book supply chain.
