Metsä Tissue has introduced a new pan-European organisational structure as part of its strategy to strengthen growth and improve operational coordination across its European markets.

The new structure took effect on May 1, 2026, and is intended to reinforce the company’s commercial focus, support closer cross-functional collaboration and provide faster, more consistent service to customers throughout Europe.

“This is an important step in executing our strategy,” said Sari Pajari-Sederholm, CEO of Metsä Tissue. “Our new organisation puts us in a stronger position to deliver value to our customers and grow our business across Europe.”

The company said customer relationships and existing points of contact will remain unchanged, adding that any relevant updates will be communicated directly through local teams.

Metsä Tissue, part of Metsä Group, manufactures hygiene products for households and professional markets, as well as greaseproof papers used in food preparation and packaging applications. Its portfolio includes brands such as Lambi, Serla, Mola, Tento, Katrin and SAGA. The company reported sales of EUR 1.1 billion in 2025 and employs approximately 2,400 people. Metsä Group, owned by around 90,000 Finnish forest owners through Metsäliitto Cooperative, generated total sales of EUR 5.8 billion in 2025.
