FSC Canada is seeking qualified and committed individuals to join its Standards Development Group (SDG) within the Environmental and Economic Chambers.

The Standards Development Group plays a critical role in the development and maintenance of FSC normative requirements in Canada that are credible and practical within the Canadian context
By contributing to the SDG, members directly influence standards that guide responsible forest stewardship—enabling Canada’s forests to continue to meet the needs of present and future generations.
About the Standards Development Group
The SDG is a high-functioning, chamber-balanced body composed of two representatives from each of the four chambers:
- Environmental
- Indigenous
- Economic
- Social
Who should apply
We are looking for individuals with:
- Expertise or experience in forestry, environmental management, economics, or related fields
- A strong interest in sustainability and responsible forest stewardship
- The ability to collaboratively engage in technical and policy discussions
- A commitment to balanced, consensus-driven processes
