Essity has announced that Donato Giorgio, President Global Supply Chain and member of the company’s Executive Management Team, will step down on October 31, 2025.
Giorgio joined Essity in 2009 and has held a series of leadership roles in global manufacturing and supply chain. He became a member of the Executive Management Team in 2015, overseeing the company’s progress in sustainable manufacturing and circular resource solutions.
“Donato Giorgio has been a strong force behind Essity’s transformation in global supply chain excellence,” said Ulrika Kolsrud, Essity’s President and CEO. “I would like to thank Donato for his contributions to Global Supply Chain and to Essity and wish him all the best in his future endeavors.”
Essity confirmed that the recruitment process for his successor has been initiated.
Essity is a leading global hygiene and health company, selling products and solutions in around 150 countries under brands such as TENA, Tork, Lotus, Libresse, Tempo, Knix, and Modibodi. Headquartered in Stockholm, the company reported 2024 net sales of SEK 146 billion (EUR 13 billion) and employs 36,000 people.
