Paper Advancement

Lecta has expanded its line of uncoated publishing papers with the launch of Coral Book Natural 1.5, a high-bulk paper designed to meet the exacting standards of publishers and printers seeking both aesthetic appeal and high performance.

This new grade offers a natural look, outstanding print quality, and excellent runnability across a variety of printing systems, including offset, flexography, dry toner, laser, and HP Indigo. Available in 70, 80, and 90 g/m² in both sheet and reel formats, Coral Book Natural 1.5 is particularly well-suited to black-and-white text, images, and full CMYK projects.

With a bulk of 1.5, the paper provides more volume and substance without increasing weight—a key benefit for novels, paperbacks, and literary editions that demand elegance and cost-efficiency. Made from natural, renewable materials, it is fully recyclable and biodegradable, aligning with the growing demand for sustainable publishing solutions.

The new product strengthens Lecta’s Coral Book portfolio, which includes other references such as Natural 1.2, Ivory 1.2, Ivory 1.5, Ivory 1.65, and White 1.2. All are manufactured under stringent international standards, including ISO certifications for environmental management, energy efficiency, quality, occupational safety, and food safety. FSC® and PEFC-certified options are also available.
