Brazil’s Suzano will increase pulp prices by $50 per tonne in both Europe and the Americas, effective May, the company confirmed.
The increase follows a similar $50 per tonne rise in March in the same regions.
For buyers, the adjustment may affect input costs depending on contract terms and inventory positions.
Suzano, one of the world’s largest pulp producers, plays a central role in global pulp pricing, particularly in export markets. Pricing moves by major producers are closely monitored across the paper, packaging and tissue sectors.
