Sustainability

Kruger announced that it has earned a gold medal in the 2025 EcoVadis assessment, which measures corporate performance in social and environmental responsibility (CSR).

With a score of 81%, the Montreal-based company ranked among the top 5% of the 150,000 organizations evaluated worldwide over the past year.

“This recognition confirms Kruger’s place among global sustainability leaders and motivates us to further strengthen our efforts in the years ahead,” said Eric Ashby, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.

Kruger has long been committed to sustainability, with initiatives to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, increase the use of recycled materials, improve energy efficiency, and implement responsible sourcing practices. These actions support its goal of creating long-term value while reducing its environmental footprint.

The EcoVadis gold medal marks a key milestone in Kruger’s continuous improvement journey, as the company aims to maintain its leadership role in sustainability.

Founded in Montreal in 1904, Kruger is a leading supplier of tissue products, recycled paperboard, packaging, pulp and paper, and renewable energy. This family-owned company employs 6,000 people and operates facilities across Canada and the United States.
