CellMark has appointed Neil Gosbee as President of its Pulp Division, effective April 15, 2026, as the company moves forward with a planned leadership transition tied to the appointment of Doug Smith as President and CEO last year.
Gosbee succeeds Smith, who had led the division since 2014 before taking on the broader chief executive role at CellMark in October 2025.
The appointment comes as CellMark continues to expand its global pulp trading and marketing activities. Gosbee joined the company in 2016 and has been involved in developing new pulp supply channels and commercial agreements across international markets.
Before joining CellMark, Gosbee worked for two pulp producers, bringing operational and supplier-side experience to the role. The company said this background has helped strengthen relationships with both suppliers and customers while supporting growth across its pulp platform.
Smith said Gosbee had contributed to some of the division’s strongest financial performances in recent years and highlighted his leadership across strategic and operational initiatives.
CellMark said the transition is expected to be seamless, with Smith remaining closely involved in the pulp business as CEO.
Founded in 1984, CellMark operates globally in pulp, paper, packaging, recycling, chemicals and basic materials. The employee-owned company trades more than 8 million tonnes of products annually and reports revenue exceeding USD 4 billion.
The Pulp Division manages more than 4 million tonnes per year across pulp, biomass energy and Nordic caustic soda markets. Its portfolio includes softwood and hardwood pulps, BCTMP, dissolving pulp and non-wood grades, supported by hub offices in Gothenburg, Geneva, Singapore and Shanghai.
