Graphic Packaging has announced the appointment of Alessandro Maselli to its Board of Directors.
Maselli is currently president and CEO of Catalent Pharma Solutions and serves on its board. Over the past 14 years, he has held a series of leadership roles at Catalent, including general manager of operations in the U.K., vice president of operations for drug delivery in Europe, senior vice president of global operations, and president and COO. He was named CEO in 2022.
Before joining Catalent, Maselli worked at Alstrom SA, SGS SA, and ABB Group, and began his career as an automation systems engineer in the food industry.
Philip Martens, Chairman of the Board at Graphic Packaging, said Maselli’s background aligns closely with the company’s strategic goals: “Alessandro brings deep commercial and operations experience that is well-aligned with our Vision 2030 innovation and execution priorities. As CEO of a fast-moving, results-driven global healthcare company, he will add important perspective and insight to the Board.”
Michael Doss, President and CEO of Graphic Packaging, noted that Maselli’s industry expertise will support the company’s development in key markets: “Alessandro's hands-on experience in the global pharmaceutical, healthcare, and personal care markets will be invaluable as we expand our position in these demanding markets.”
Graphic Packaging designs and produces consumer packaging made primarily from renewable or recycled materials. The company operates a global network of design and manufacturing facilities serving major brands in food, beverage, foodservice, household, and other consumer product segments.
