Sonoco Appoints Andrea White as Chief Human Resources Officer

Sonoco has announced the appointment of Andrea White as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

White, an 18-year veteran of the company, has also been elected a corporate officer by Sonoco’s Board of Directors and will report directly to Howard Coker, President and CEO.

White began her career at Sonoco as a Reliability Engineer and has since held key leadership roles in operational excellence, commercial strategy, and IT. In 2022, she was appointed Vice President of Global Human Resources, leading to her current promotion.

“Andrea is a visionary people leader with deep expertise in operations, management, and human resources,” said Coker. “Her leadership will be instrumental in shaping Sonoco’s workforce and driving our continued success.”

A graduate of N.C. State University, White holds a Bachelor of Science in Textile Engineering and is certified in Lean Manufacturing. She also serves on the Florence Darlington Technical College Foundation Board.
