Sabert Corporation Europe has introduced a new version of its compact Deli2Go range, adding improved functionality to a product widely used for chilled meals and side dishes.
The update centres on a redesigned kraft paper base paired with a clear rPET lid that clips securely into place, using the same patented closure system found in Sabert’s Tray2Go line.
The new base provides a tighter, more reliable seal, while the transparent lid enhances food visibility — a feature increasingly important for retailers and foodservice operators looking to improve presentation in chilled counters and grab-and-go displays.
Deli2Go remains freezer-safe, making it suitable for preparation, chilled counter service, and transport. In quick-service environments, the trays can be used for salads, pasta dishes and other ready-to-eat meals. In catering, the range serves as a practical option for assembling and distributing individual cold dishes. The format also suits grocery retail, petrol stations and in-store food corners where compact, stackable packaging is essential.
The aesthetic has been kept intentionally simple, with an emphasis on functionality. The stackable, nestable bases are made from FSC™-certified kraft paper, and their grease-resistant construction supports a variety of chilled applications. Available in 125 ml, 250 ml and 375 ml, the bases can be custom-printed for operators seeking branded packaging.
Both components of the range are produced in Europe. The kraft bases are manufactured at Sabert’s facility in Kimbolton, UK, while the lids are made in Nivelles, Belgium. The rPET lid is compatible with all three tray sizes, simplifying inventory for foodservice operators.
The updated line expands the company’s packaging portfolio alongside its Snap2Go and Tray2Go ranges, which have gained industry recognition for secure closure systems and ease of use.
Sabert Corporation Europe manufactures foodservice packaging, including paperboard trays, rPET lids and disposable tableware. The company operates facilities in several European markets and focuses on recyclable and compostable materials for chilled and ready-to-eat foods.
