Saica Group, a leading European recycled paper and packaging manufacturer, has announced plans to build its second corrugated plant in the United States.
The new facility, representing an investment of over $110 million, will be located in Anderson, Indiana.

The state-of-the-art factory will feature manufacturing, converting, and production areas, along with warehouse and office space. A connected railroad line will facilitate paper roll deliveries, reducing transport costs.
Susana Alejandro, President and CEO of Saica Group, emphasized the company's commitment to long-term growth in the US market, stating, "This investment is proof that we are moving forward with our plans in the American continent as we are convinced that we can provide products that will differentiate us in a crowded market."
The Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC) has offered Saica Group up to $2 million in tax credits, $150,000 in training grants, and $300,000 in infrastructure improvement incentives. These performance-based incentives reflect the state's support for the project and its potential economic impact on the region.
Anderson City Mayor Thomas Broderick, Jr. welcomed the investment, noting its contribution to diversifying the city's advanced manufacturing opportunities. The new facility will also serve as a backup plant for clients of Saica's existing US plant in Hamilton, Ohio.
This project is part of Saica Group's larger strategy to invest approximately $800 million in the US market over the next several years, demonstrating the company's strong commitment to expanding its presence in North America.
