Enerquin Air is currently seeking a Technical Services Engineer who will perform all engineering activities for technical surveys and the commissioning, start-up and service of our equipment. The TSE will also provide technical support to the sales and engineering departments, as needed. Duties and responsibilities are as follows:

Technical Surveys

Technical surveys are accomplished in two distinct phases, i.e. on-site measurements/observations and report preparation. The designated TSE will have the following responsibilities:

a) Phase I: On-site work

  • Prepare a plan of action for the site work to be accomplished in order to meet the survey objectives
  • Perform the field measurements and observations
  • Present the preliminary results to the client and discuss the general orientation of the report

b) Phase II: Report Preparation

  • Prepare the final report; including, data entry and analysis, engineering calculations, discussion, observation and recommendations

Start-up, Commissioning and Contract Service

The TSE will perform the following activities, as applicable, when designated as the person responsible for the start-up, commissioning or service of a project.

  • Perform field measurements and inspection of equipment
  • Make any necessary adjustments to the equipment
  • Prepare the start-up, commissioning or service report

Technical Sales Support

  • Assist the Sales Engineer in completing sales surveys
  • Assist the Sales Engineer regarding the technical requirements for proposal based on survey recommendations

The requirements and profile of the Technical Service Engineer include:

  • Graduate engineer preferably in mechanical engineering with advanced knowledge of thermodynamics
  • Bilingual in English/French (spoken and written)
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Be able to travel outside of the country (valid passport is required)
  • Be able to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Be able to manage priorities, multi-task and work with tight deadlines
  • Be enthusiastic, friendly and show a sense of responsibility
