Smurfit Westrock Joins 2025 Forbes Global 2000 Ranking

Smurfit Westrock has been named one of the world’s most successful public companies on the 2025 Forbes Global 2000 list, which ranks the largest and most influential corporations based on revenue, profit, assets, and market value.

Less than a year after its creation through the merger of Smurfit Kappa and WestRock, the company secured a prominent position on the list, earning recognition as “the highest-ranking new company to join the list.”

Tony Smurfit, President and CEO, welcomed the news, stating that the ranking reflects the dedication of employees and the positive momentum the company has built since its formation.

The 2025 Forbes list aggregates data from 2000 companies worldwide, representing a combined $52.9 trillion in revenue and $242.2 trillion in assets.

This recognition follows another recent honor for Smurfit Westrock, which was included on TIME magazine’s inaugural list of the World’s Most Sustainable Companies.
