Pregis has expanded its on-demand paper packaging portfolio with the launch of EasyPack® Strata, a high-speed system engineered to deliver structured paper pads for adaptable protection in modern fulfillment operations.
The new system responds to growing demand for packaging solutions that combine throughput, flexibility, and sustainability. Strata’s structured paper pads provide consistent void fill and cushioning performance while optimizing carton space and reducing paper waste. With dispensing speeds reaching 60 inches per second, it is designed to keep pace with high-volume e-commerce and logistics environments.
“Fulfillment operations need systems that meet productivity goals without adding complexity,” said Joey Phister, President of Protective Products at Pregis. “EasyPack Strata allows operators to adjust protection levels in real time, improving throughput and minimizing material use.”
The Strata system integrates seamlessly into various fulfillment setups—from individual packing stations to centralized packaging lines—thanks to its modular and ergonomic design. A movable magnetic user interface enables flexible control placement, while automatic and manual modes simplify training and increase efficiency across teams. Operators can also select single- or dual-ply paper and adjust basis weights to match packaging needs precisely, balancing cost control and protection.
Sustainability remains central to the Strata platform. It runs on Pregis EasyPack® paper made from 100% recycled material, including FSC®-certified options, supporting curbside recyclability and helping shippers meet environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals.
With its blend of speed, adaptability, and eco-conscious operation, the new EasyPack Strata positions Pregis as a key player in helping fulfillment centers enhance protection, reduce damage, and deliver a more consistent customer experience.
