The initiative involves the replacement of a packager and bagger with higher-performance equipment, aimed at optimizing bathroom tissue packaging and enhancing overall productivity.

According to the company, the modernization project is expected to increase the converting line’s production rate at the packaging stage by 8% compared to current levels. Improvements will also be seen in availability and operational speed, supporting Cascades’ long-term competitiveness and growth in the retail tissue market.

“This project will allow us to increase capacity and strengthen our role as a reliable partner for our customers,” said Hugues Simon, President and CEO of Cascades. “It reflects our commitment to continuous improvement and growth.”
