Envirolys Award for “Employee-Driven Progress”
At the 16th Envirolys Gala hosted by the Council of Environmental Technology Companies of Québec (CETEQ), Cascades received the Coup de cœur Award for its “60 Gestures to Propel Progress” initiative. Launched to mark the company’s 60th anniversary, the project encouraged employees to bring forward ideas that promote positive environmental and social impact. Supported by the sustainability team, the selected initiatives received tailored guidance and financial backing — a reflection of Cascades’ participatory culture and its drive for continuous improvement.
Forbes Names Cascades a “Net Zero Leader”
Forbes included Cascades among its 2025 Net Zero Leaders, a list of 200 companies recognized for significant progress in reducing greenhouse gas emissions across their value chains. The ranking, developed in collaboration with Morningstar and Sustainalytics, evaluates companies on emissions performance, governance, risk management, and overall readiness for a low-carbon economy. Cascades’ inclusion underscores its long-term commitment to decarbonization and sustainable growth.
EcoVadis Bronze Medal for Responsible Practices
EcoVadis, a global platform assessing corporate sustainability performance, awarded Cascades a Bronze Medal, placing it among the top 35% of rated companies worldwide. Since first joining the program in 2012, Cascades has continuously advanced its practices in ethics, responsible procurement, and environmental performance.
