The Klingele Paper & Packaging Group has announced the appointment of Jürgen Lemke as Chief Operating Officer (COO) for its Paper division, effective July 1, 2025.
In this new role, Lemke will oversee Klingele’s global paper operations, including mills in Weener (Germany), Nova Campina (Brazil), and Strasbourg (France), as well as the internal supply of paper to the group’s corrugated board plants.
In addition to operational oversight, Lemke will focus on strategic development and improving capacity utilization across the paper division—key components in supporting Klingele’s integrated approach to paper and packaging.
Lemke brings extensive experience in the paper and packaging industry, having managed both paper mills and corrugated board facilities. His background includes the successful integration of new sites, the conversion of production lines for base paper, and the development of lightweight and efficient paper grades.
Commenting on his new role, Lemke noted the value of synergy within a vertically integrated organization. “The connection between paper production and packaging opens real opportunities,” he said. “Cross-functional collaboration plays a key role in turning ideas into practical solutions.”
He succeeds Robert Sieger, who is leaving the company after eight years of dedicated service. Sieger contributed significantly to the group’s development during his tenure, helping shape its direction and growth.
The appointment signals Klingele’s commitment to strengthening its core operations while maintaining long-term competitiveness through innovation, efficiency, and vertical integration.
