Sustana has released its 2024 Sustainability Report, marking the company’s third annual review of environmental, social, and governance performance.
Covering the period from January 1 to December 31, 2024, the report outlines progress toward key objectives, new targets for 2025, and initiatives to advance circularity and transparency.
According to the report, Sustana achieved a Gold Medal rating in its second EcoVadis assessment, placing it among the top 3% of companies worldwide for sustainable practices. The year also marked the first full year of operation for Sustana Recovery, its paper recovery business, designed to strengthen circular economy solutions.
The report provides a detailed greenhouse gas emissions inventory across Scopes 1, 2, and 3, along with updates on energy efficiency initiatives that have reduced emissions. It also expands on the company’s social impact programs, including workplace safety and community engagement efforts.

“Our 2024 report demonstrates not only how we are improving our own operations but also how we help our partners enhance their practices,” said Nathan Jeppson, CEO.
