Kimberly-Clark has appointed Stacey Valy Panayiotou as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), effective September 10.
She succeeds interim CHRO Viviane Cury, who will return to her role as Vice President, Talent Business Partner for North America.
In her new position, Panayiotou will oversee Kimberly-Clark’s global human resources operations, including recruitment, employee development, performance management, labor relations, and compensation. She will report directly to Chairman and CEO Mike Hsu and join the company’s executive leadership team.
“Stacey is a transformational leader with a track record of aligning people strategies with enterprise growth,” said Hsu. “Her focus on creating people-first, high-performing cultures aligns with Kimberly-Clark’s values and our Powering Care strategy.”
Panayiotou brings more than 20 years of international HR leadership. Most recently, she served as CHRO at Ball Corporation, where she launched the company’s first global learning university. Her previous roles include EVP and CHRO at Graphic Packaging International and senior HR leadership positions at The Coca-Cola Company, where she spent 13 years in global and regional roles.
She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Iowa and two master’s degrees from Loyola University Chicago’s Institute of Human Resources & Industrial Relations.
Commenting on her appointment, Panayiotou said, “I’m honored to join a company with such a rich legacy of delivering performance and care—for consumers, customers, communities, and its people. I look forward to strengthening the capabilities of Kimberly-Clark’s talented workforce worldwide.”
Kimberly-Clark, known for brands such as Huggies, Kleenex, Kotex, and Cottonelle, operates in more than 175 countries and has a 150-year history of innovation and care.
