First Quality Enterprises has confirmed completing the previously disclosed acquisition of Domtar Corporations' Dryden pulp mill

First Quality Enterprises, LLC has officially completed the previously announced acquisition of the pulp mill owned by Domtar Corporations, situated in Dryden, Ontario, Canada.

This facility, known as the "Dryden Mill," is responsible for producing high-caliber Northern Bleached Softwood Kraft pulp to cater to clientele in North America.

Functioning as an independent entity under the umbrella of the First Quality Group, the Dryden Mill will be known as Dryden Fibre Canada, ULC. It's worth noting that there are no immediate intentions to alter the current workforce, operational procedures, or overall business structure of the Dryden Mill.

Robert Chisholm, who serves as the Division Manager of Dryden Fibre Canada, ULC, expressed his enthusiasm regarding the completion of the Dryden Mill acquisition. He highlighted the mill's exceptional team, led by Marie Cyr, as a key motivation behind this endeavor. Chisholm anticipates a promising future ahead, with a strong commitment to sustaining and fostering the Dryden Mill's achievements and growth for many generations to come. He also emphasized a proactive approach to enhancing local engagement and fortifying relationships with the host community, local Indigenous groups, valued partners, customers, and other stakeholders associated with the Dryden Mill.
