Kruger announces winning the Partnership Award at the ADRIQ’s 33rd Gala des Prix Innovation in collaboration with Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières, Guelph Research & Development Centre, INTRALYTIX, INC., Université Laval, and Innofibre Centre d'innovation des produits cellulosiques.
The awarded project focuses on bioactive packaging development for the food industry. The cellulose-based packaging has antimicrobial properties to extend food life, presenting scientific and commercial promise while potentially reducing food waste and single-use plastics.
