McLaren Packaging has acquired Glenhaze Ltd, a leading protective packaging specialist based in Bathgate, UK. Specializing in sustainable, paper-based solutions for the spirit, glass, and e-commerce industries, Glenhaze's addition aligns with McLaren's commitment to diverse and eco-friendly offerings.

Donald McLaren, Managing Director, expressed excitement about the collaboration, highlighting the complementary nature of Glenhaze's services. The acquisition retains Glenhaze's Bathgate premises and 25 employees, ensuring business as usual for clients and staff.

The shared values of both companies as responsible employers and manufacturers played a crucial role in McLaren Packaging's interest in Glenhaze. The move positions McLaren Packaging to leverage Glenhaze's expertise in corrugate material, expanding its product portfolio to a broader customer base.

Gary McCulloch, Glenhaze Managing Director, anticipates benefits for both parties, ensuring a seamless continuity of services. Established in 1994, Glenhaze's commitment to sustainability is evident in its 100% recyclable products with ISO 14001 environmental accreditation.

This strategic acquisition allows McLaren Packaging to enhance its offerings, building on Glenhaze's strong market performance and reputation. As the two entities integrate, McLaren Packaging is set to become a prominent provider of comprehensive and sustainable packaging solutions in the UK.
