Pioneering Sustainable Cutlery: Matrix Pack Group and PulPac's Innovative Partnership

PulPac and Matrix Pack Group have announced a strategic partnership to create a more cost-effective and environmentally friendly alternative to traditional single-use plastic and wooden cutlery.

This collaboration includes PulPac, Matrix Pack, and PA Consulting, with PulPac and PA Consulting leading the cutlery development and Matrix Pack co-developing the industrialization of the post-processing solution. Matrix Pack will be the first producer to introduce Dry Molded Fiber Cutlery, expected to be fully industrialized by early 2025.

Dry Molded Fiber technology is highlighted for its strength, cost benefits, and reduced environmental impact, requiring minimal water and energy consumption. The partnership aims to develop consumer-friendly, functional, and cost-efficient cutlery. Sanna Fager, Chief Commercial Officer at PulPac, emphasized the importance of this collaboration in accelerating the development and market introduction of innovative, sustainable products.
