Mill Manager appointments at Metsä Group’s mills in Kemi

Pekka Kittilä, M.Sc. (Eng.), has been appointed VP, Mill Manager of Metsä Fibre's new bioproduct mill as of 1 February 2024. Kittilä has previously worked as Technical Director of the bioproduct mill project. In his new position, Kittilä will report to Metsä Fibre's SVP, Pulp Production.

Tomi Seppä, M.Sc. (Eng.), has been appointed Project Director at Metsä Board as of 1 February 2024, after which he will move to the position of VP, Kemi Board Mill as of 1 June 2024. Seppä is currently working as VP, Mill Manager of the Kemi bioproduct mill. In his new position, Seppä will report to Metsä Board’s SVP, Production and Technology, Harri Pihlajaniemi. The new position of the current VP, Kemi Board Mill Timo Ahonen as of 1.6.2024 will be announced later.
