Sustana, a leader in sustainable and recycled fiber-based products, has appointed Nathan Jeppson as its new Chief Executive Officer.
Jeppson succeeds Fabian de Armas and brings more than 20 years of leadership experience from top manufacturing and materials companies, including significant roles at Shell Chemical LP and Dow.
Nathan Jeppson emphasized Sustana's leadership in producing sustainable, high-quality, fiber-based materials that minimize waste, preserve natural resources, and protect biodiversity. He expressed enthusiasm for the growth opportunities as businesses increasingly prioritize sustainability and responsible supply chain management. Jeppson acknowledged the significant growth Sustana experienced under Fabian de Armas's leadership and looked forward to collaborating with the team to drive the company’s next stage of development.
The Board of Directors of Sustana welcomed Jeppson, noting his extensive experience and leadership in the lumber and specialty chemicals sectors. They also acknowledged the contributions of outgoing CEO Fabian de Armas, who has been instrumental in Sustana’s recent growth, and wished him success in his future endeavors.
Jeppson joins Sustana from NWH, Inc., where he served as Chairman and CEO, leading the company to record profitability and establishing a strong foundation for future growth. His career includes roles as President of Shell Chemical LP and General Manager of a major division of Shell. Before his tenure at Shell, Jeppson held various leadership positions at The Dow Chemical Company, gaining experience across North America, China, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Europe.
With Jeppson at the helm, Sustana aims to further its mission of delivering innovative, eco-friendly products while continuing to expand its market presence.
