PaperWorks Industries has expanded its North American footprint with the acquisition of Color Craft Graphic Arts, a long-established packaging producer based in Manitowoc, Wisconsin.
The deal, announced on November 12, 2025, strengthens PaperWorks’ integrated network of recycled paperboard mills and folding carton facilities.
Founded in 1929, Color Craft manufactures packaging for food, beverage, and household goods—segments that align with PaperWorks’ core end markets. The transaction brings 120 employees into the PaperWorks organization and adds a sixth converting facility to its operations across the United States and Canada. PaperWorks now operates two paperboard mills and six folding carton plants.
Brian Janki, President and CEO of PaperWorks, said the acquisition supports the company’s long-term growth strategy. “Color Craft meets our criteria for geographic alignment with our mill system and folding carton network, diverse customer mix, and overall cultural fit,” he noted.
Color Craft President and CEO Gregg Weber, who will join the PaperWorks leadership team, emphasized the benefits of joining a larger integrated group. “We are thrilled to join an organization that emulates our values and has an outstanding reputation in the industry,” he said. “This is a great opportunity for the Manitowoc team to thrive within a larger folding carton network and leverage mill integration to deliver the highest level of service to our customers.”

Founded on a fully recycled paperboard platform, PaperWorks operates two mills and a network of converting facilities serving food, beverage, personal care, and household product markets across North America. The company develops fiber-based packaging used by a wide range of consumer goods manufacturers.
